Mientras ocurren las pruebas beta de Xbox Live en México para lanzar este servicio en este país, en el resto del mundo se están preparando para la tercera versión.

Los cambios que agregarán en esta entrega incluyen los siguientes:

Team Dynamics
This is the equivalent to a 'clan maker'. What this enables you to do is gather friends together on a team and have easy access to talking with them, seeing the team statistics, and going against other teams.

Competitions
Microsoft says that this makes it easier to do competitions, but the details have not been gone into.

Title-Managed Online Storage
This lets players upload different content for games. Whether it be custom logos to custom maps and skins. You can also make your skins/maps/whatever downloadable for other players. Not sure how this will be implemented, but it sounds intriguing.

MSN Messenger Integration
This is a no brainer. MSN Messenger will be available on Xbox Live for you to chat with people on other Xboxes or other computers.

La inclusión de almacenamiento en línea así como rumores de contratos entre Microsoft y compañías que se dedican a crear tarjetas de almacenamiento han generado comentarios de que la siguiente versión de Xbox no incluirá un disco duro. Esperemos que no sea así.
